The Cookbook

Earlier this week, I announced the creation of my very first cookbook—a project that has been in the works for over a year.
It all began at home as I developed recipes and started journaling them. My girls had begun showing a real interest in cooking and kept asking if I had a recipe book they could keep when they’re older. That simple question sparked everything. I started taking detailed notes and writing down recipes just for them.
Soon after, I became a cooking coordinator, which gave me the opportunity to develop even more recipes. I tested them at markets and workshops, created recipe cards, and learned how to properly develop and document recipes. It was the perfect introduction to turning a passion into something real.

I knew I didn’t want to create just any cookbook. I wanted one that reflected my life now—one deeply rooted in the garden. Everything I cook comes from Seed To Plate, and that became the heart of this book. That’s how the name was born.
With the garden at the center, seasonality naturally became a major focus. I included family favorites like my husband’s special herb blend inspired by his seafood background, our beloved red sauce, and my authentic Puerto Rican-inspired recipes.
These recipes are especially meaningful to me because they strike the perfect balance: some may feel fancy, yet they’re simple enough for everyday meals. The book is organized by seasons, and many recipes are plant-based or easily adaptable. I’ve also included crowd-pleasers from past events, such as my Stuffed Peppers and Skillet Apple Crisp.
My goal was to capture the beautiful blend of flavors, traditions, and love that fills my kitchen and share it with you. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I’ve enjoyed pouring my heart into creating it—and I can’t wait to develop even more recipes for you in the future.
The book is now available for pre-order, with shipping beginning July 1st.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing in my love of gardening, food, and family, and for watching this dream come to life.
Thank you,
Stay Hungry Besties!
